DESCRIPTION
On July 7, 2025, the County Manager approved CPO No. 22-094-C with the Consultant at a cost of $25,467.00 to perform a traffic study for the turn lanes of Spirit Lake Road @ US 17. The traffic study is now complete.
This CSA will provide professional engineering services to perform roadway design, utility coordination, geotechnical investigation, subsurface utility engineering (SUE) and for construction plans for an extended left turn lane and slight road widening for Spirit Lake Road as it approaches US 17. County staff has negotiated a CSA with the Consultant to provide professional engineering services for this Project. The Consultant is to perform these services at a total not-to-exceed fee of $163,540.41 and will be completed as detailed in “Exhibit A”.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve CSA No. 22-094-05 with the Consultant at not-to-exceed fee of $163,540.41 for the Spirit Lake Road at US 17 Turn Lane project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Transportation Millage Fund.
