Accept a Drainage Easement from Michlyn D. Patterson, Trustee, in conjunction with drainage improvements along West Lake Eloise Terrace. (No fiscal impact)

DESCRIPTION
In response to drainage concerns on and around West Lake Eloise Terrace in the Winter Haven area, the County has plans to make improvements in the area. The improvements consist of repairing an existing drainage pipeline that carries storm water from the roadway eastward to the lake, which is in disrepair and not functioning properly. When reviewing the area for the improvements it was discovered that no easement for the existing drainage pipeline could be located. County staff contacted the owner of the property, Michlyn D. Patterson, Trustee, and requested an 8-foot wide easement along the southern boundary of her property to accommodate the repair and future maintenance of the pipeline. The owner has agreed to the request and has executed and delivered a Drainage Easement to the County. Accepting the aforementioned Drainage Easement will give the County the easement needed for the planned improvements.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board accept the aforementioned Drainage Easement.
