Approve maintained right-of-way maps for Lake Fox Drive East, Sand Lake Road/L. Stenger Road, Weiberg Road/Edwards Road, and Weita Road. (No fiscal impact)

DESCRIPTION
Many of the roads in the State of Florida and within Polk County were constructed years ago with narrow or non-existent rights-of-way. To correct this situation, Florida Statutes allow the State, County, or Municipality to file a map as prima facie evidence of ownership of the road with the Clerk of Circuit Court in the County in which the road lies. The State, County, or Municipality is required to certify that it has maintained the roads continuously for a minimum of seven years.
Maintained right-of-way maps have been prepared for the following roads lying within Polk County:
1. Lake Fox Drive East from its intersection with Cypress Gardens Boulevard northward approximately 1,200 feet to its intersection with Lake Fox Road South. The right-of-way is located in Section 07, Township 29 South, Range 27 East.
2. Sand Lake Road from its intersection with 80 Foot Road westward then northward to where the road changes names to L. Stenger Road and thence eastward to its intersection with 80 Foot Road for a total of approximately 3-miles. The right-of-way is located in Sections 12, 13 and 24, Township 30 South, Range 25 East.
3. Weiberg Road to its intersection with Alford Road where the road changes names to Edwards Road and continuing eastward to its intersection with H.L. Smith Road for a total of approximately 1.75-miles. The right-of-way is located in Sections 22 and 23, Township 28 South, Range 27 East.
4. Weita Road from its intersection with 80 Foot Road eastward approximately 1-mile to its intersection with Reynolds Road. The right-of-way is located in Sections 18 and 19, Township 30 South, Range 26 East.
The maintenance units in which these roadways lie have maintained the roadways for more than seven years and will certify the maps. Approving the recording of the main...
