DESCRIPTION
Winter Haven Hospital, Inc., a Florida non-for-profit corporation, d/b/a Center for Behavioral Health (CBH), provides behavioral health services to qualified County residents whose income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Care is provided via the Specialized Community Care Treatment team (SCCT). The team serves individuals in clinic and in-home settings, and is comprised of the following: Licensed Therapist, Masters Level Therapist, Case Manager, and Psychiatrist or APRN.
The first amendment increased funding to support a telehealth platform during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The second amendment aligned the reimbursement structure similar to other behavioral health contracted providers and exercised the option to extend the contract for two one-year renewal terms, extending the term to September 30, 2024.
This third amendment extends the contract to September 30, 2026, increases funding from $1,022,625 to $1,576,280, and adds genetic testing as an additional reimbursable service.
This request was presented to and recommended for approval by the Citizen’s HealthCare Oversight Committee.
