DESCRIPTION
At the request of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, this amendment extends the expiration date to the Standard Grant Agreement Number LPR0019 from September 30, 2025 to June 30, 2026 to coincide with the projected completion date of the project. The grant agreement provides reimbursement of $608,050.00 for the design and construction of the main lift station and force main to convey wastewater to the City of Lake Wales, as well as the abandonment of the existing wastewater treatment facility.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve Amendment No. 2 for the Standard Grant Agreement Number LPR0019 between the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Polk County for the Polk County Crooked Lake Park Receivership Wastewater Treatment Facility Abandonment project.
FISCAL IMPACT
No fiscal impact. Under the terms of the Standard Grant Agreement, the Department will reimburse the County. Funds are budgeted and available in the Community Investment Program Budget.
