DESCRIPTION

This is an applicant-initiated request for property located south of Bowen Road, east of County Road 547, west of US Highway 92, and north of Ernie Caldwell Boulevard, north of the city limits of Davenport, in Section 22, Township 26, Range 27. State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, which was held on January 8, 2025, with a recommendation of approval by a 6:1 vote.

 

Section 163.3202, Florida Statutes (F.S.) requires the Board to adopt Land Development Code (LDC) regulations consistent with the implementation of the Polk County Comprehensive Plan. Amendments to the LDC require two public hearings before the Board to be adopted.

 

RECOMMENDATION

Request Board set for the first reading on February 4, 2025, at 9:15 a.m., and the second reading on February 18, 2025, at 9:15 a.m.
