Accept a Quit Claim Deed for additional right-of-way in conjunction with the North Ridge Trail Extension Infrastructure Agreement. (No fiscal impact)

DESCRIPTION
In December 2024 DHIC - Citrus Ridge, LLC (the “Developer”) entered into an Infrastructure Agreement with Polk County regarding the construction of a portion of a planned transportation facility known as North Ridge Trail from Poitras Road Two southward to Legacy Park Boulevard. As part of the Agreement the Developer agreed convey additional right-of-way measuring 40-feet wide along the western boundary of its development property to the County to establish an 80-foot wide road corridor for the North Ridge Trail improvements. The Developer has executed and delivered a Quit Claim Deed to the County for the additional right-of-way. Accepting the aforementioned Quit Claim Deed will give the county the right-of-way needed for the new roadway improvements.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board accept the aforementioned Quit Claim Deed.
