DESCRIPTION
On June 18, 2024, the Board approved the recommendation of the selection committee and authorized staff to negotiate an agreement with ISI Water Company dba Water Company of America for request for proposal (RFP) 24-262. The consultant will examine utility billing and metering data to analyze and identify water, wastewater, and reclaimed water system mis-billings.
The consultant will be paid sixty percent of the increased revenue due to any underbilling’s identified for three years from the date the discrepancy was identified by the consultant. The agreement also allows for the Utilities Division to pay a lump sum amount in lieu of the fixed percent for three years.
The term of this agreement is for five years.
RECOMMENDATION

FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the Utilities Operating Budget.
