body

DESCRIPTION

On December 12, 2023, Procurement approved CPO No. 22-083-B, which is now known as CSA No. 22-083-03, with the Consultant at a cost of $49,541.46 to evaluate short-term alternatives to address localized flooding in the vicinity of the Georgetowne Manor subdivision on Ariana Street and several streets to the west. The alternatives analysis is now complete.

Three (3) Proposed Conditions Models were created to represent different alternatives for proposed improvements in this area. The recommended alternative for this Project is Alternative 3. Alternative 3 reduces peak stage flooding in the vicinity of the Georgetowne subdivision and further west along Ariana Street for intersections that show flooding under modeled conditions. County staff has negotiated a CSA with the Consultant to provide the final design services for this Project. The Consultant is to perform these services at a total not-to-exceed fee of $106,897.18 and will be completed in accordance with the Design Requirements and Project Schedule as detailed in “Exhibit A”.
