body

DESCRIPTION

The Polk County Board of County Commissioners had delegated to the County Manager the authority to enter into agreements in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) without further approval of the Board. The proposed resolution would increase the County Manager’s authorized amount from One Hundred Thousand Dollars to Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000). There is a proposed Ordinance to increase the authorized amount to $200,000 for procurement agreements. This resolution matches the authorized amount in the proposed ordinance for agreements that do not fall under the procurement procedures.

Approve and adopt the Resolution amending Resolution No 2016-007, the Guidelines for the Execution of Contracts by the County Manager, to increase the authorized maximum amount the County Manager may enter into without further Board approval to Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000).

FISCAL IMPACT

There is no fiscal impact to the County.
