DESCRIPTION
On October 10, 2024, the County Manager approved CSA No. 2021-031-02 with SLAM in the amount of $70,480.00 for providing professional consultant services associated with a renovation study building assessment for possible modifications to the existing IHC (Community Health Care) building located at 2135 Marshal Edwards Drive, Bartow.
Modification No. 01, to CSA No. 2021-031-02, with SLAM aims to integrate a comprehensive master planning study into the existing renovation assessment for the Indigent Health Care (Community Health Care) building and the surrounding east Bartow campus properties. This expanded scope is expected to provide a strategic vision for potential future development, ensuring a more cohesive, sustainable, and well-organized approach to managing the county's assets for this County program and other programs located in the east Bartow campus area. The cost of this additional service is a lump sum amount of $97,992.00.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve Modification No. 01 to CSA No.2021-031-02 with SLAM for an Indigent Health Care (Community Health Care) Renovation Study as a scope of services expansion to include a master planning study for select Polk County-owned properties located in the east Bartow campus area.
Approval of Modification No. 01 to CSA NO. 2021-031-02 in the amount of $97,992.00 plus the original fee amount of $70,480.00 provides for a total CSA cost of $168,472.00.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $97,992.00 are currently budgeted and available in the Indigent Health Care Fund.
