DESCRIPTION
This resolution will replace Polk County Resolution No 2024-192 to clarify the initial estimated assessment date. Natures Reserve is a platted subdivision located in the Davenport area. Over 75% of the parcel owners within the proposed assessment area have signed the petition for creation of a street lighting assessment area which will allow the street lighting costs within the subdivision to be assessed annually by the County and collected on the tax bill.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt the proposed resolution replacing Polk County Resolution No. 2024-192 creating the Natures Reserve Street Lighting Assessment Area.
FISCAL IMPACT
No fiscal impact. Costs of operation and maintenance of the street lighting assessment area will be paid by the lot owners through an annual special assessment.
