DESCRIPTION
The Roads and Drainage Division requested Procurement to solicit bids from qualified contractors who were interested in constructing roadway and drainage improvements along Imperial Lakes Boulevard in the Imperial Lakes Subdivision located in Mulberry. The work primarily consists of the construction of two retention ponds, installation of a new storm sewer, drainage structures, curb and gutter, and general roadway construction.
Bid 24-614, Imperial Lakes Drainage Improvement Project - ARP was issued, and three contractors submitted bids. The lowest responsive bid was submitted by Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC.

A recommendation of award was issued to Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC, and no protests were received. In accordance with Resolution No. 13-066, $250,000.00 was added to the contract for allowance work for a total contract amount of $8,941,173.86. The contract time for this project is 365 days to final completion. Allowance time for the project is 54 days.
This project is fully funded through the American Rescue Plan through the United States Department of Treasury.

Request Board approve a construction contract with Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC in the amount of $8,941,173.86 for Bid 24-614, Imperial Lakes Drainage Improvement Project - ARP.
FISCAL IMPACT
