Modification to Consultant Services Authorization (CSA) TPO-20-1009-02-05 with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. to Prepare the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan Update (Part Two) increasing the Cost Not-to-Exceed amount from $230,000.00 to $260,000.00

SUMMARY:
Staff requests the Board to approve the CSA modification which increases the amount of the contract by $30,000. The increase is needed due to multiple issues which were outside of the Consultant’s and TPO staff control including changes to key projects in the FDOT Work Program, and multiple revisions to Central Polk Parkway East alignments, project limits, and project costs. There is funding available in the TPO’s Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), or grant budget, to accommodate this change. The project deliverables and timeline remain unchanged.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff requests the Board to approve the CSA Modification.
