DESCRIPTION
This is an applicant-initiated request for an LDC text amendment to Appendix E, Section E105.E, CPA 16C-02, Subsection 3 to add additional defined area to the boundaries depicted for Construction Aggregate, Processing and Storage area. State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, was held on January 3, 2024.
Section 163.3202, Florida Statutes (F.S.) requires the Board to adopt Land Development Code (LDC) regulations consistent with the implementation of the Polk County Comprehensive Plan. Amendments to the LDC require two public hearings before the Board to be adopted.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board set the first reading on January 23, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. and the Adoption reading on February 6, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
