DESCRIPTION
On May 16, 2023, the Board approved CSA No. 22-083-01 with the Consultant at not-to-exceed fee of $318,137.45 to provide professional engineering services to perform roadway design, utility coordination, geotechnical investigation, subsurface utility engineering (SUE) and for construction plans for a new mini roundabout on the Lake Ned Road at Cypress Gardens Road intersection.
On April 15, 2025, the Board approved Modification No.1 to CSA No. 22-083-01 to allow the Consultant to provide additional design effort required for this project. Modification No.1 increased the contract amount by $34,864.91 and brought the total not-to-exceed fee to $353,002.36. The design is now complete.
Modification No. 2 to the Scope of Services is now needed to allow the Consultant to provide post-design services during construction, as described in Attachment “A” of this Modification. This will increase the contract amount by $27,482.56 and will bring the total not-to-exceed fee to $380,484.92.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approves Modification No. 2 to CSA No. 22-083-01 with the Consultant at not-to-exceed fee of $27,482.56 to provide post design services for the Lake Ned Road and Cypress Gardens Road Intersection Improvement Project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted in the Transportation Trust Fund.
