DESCRIPTION
On May 17, 2023, the County Manager approved the Florida 911 Region 4 Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) Project Memorandum of Understanding with Citrus BOCC, Hernando BOCC, Hillsborough BOCC, Manatee BOCC, Pasco BOCC, Pinellas BOCC, Sarasota BOCC, and Sumter BOCC. DataMark Technologies Validate-Edit-Provision (VEP) software was selected by the Florida 9-1-1 Region 4 to consume, maintain, and distribute NG-9-1-1 geospatial data.
Sole Source No. 25-645 with DataMark Technologies, as a result of the Memorandum of Understanding, is to collaborate on NG9-1-1 related matters and encourage collaboration between PSAPs and GIS authorities in the development and maintenance, and sharing of critical GIS data needed to support NG9-1-1 services across the region and State of Florida.
The technical services agreement provides for coordination and facilitation of workshops with Emergency Management E-9-1-1 staff, Polk County's four Public Safety Answering Points, and neighboring counties to assess, develop, and correct National Emergency Number Association (NENA) required NG9-1-1 boundary layers, and Polk County E-9-1-1 GIS datasets, for conformance with the NG9-1-1 GIS Data Model.
The technical services for implementation and annual support are broken down as follows:
* Implementation Services $264,425.00 (one-time cost)
* Year One Support Costs: $21,752.00
* Year Two Support Costs: $22,840.00
* Year Three Support Costs: $23,525.00
* Year Four Support Costs: $24,231.00
* Year Five Support Costs: $24,958.00
