DESCRIPTION
Solivita Phase 1 and the adjacent Solivita street lighting special assessment areas are platted subdivisions located in the Poinciana area. In 2000, the Polk County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 2000-098 creating the Solivita Phase 1 Special Street Lighting District. Since then, 45 Solivita Street Lighting Districts have been established. On October 7, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners of Polk County adopted Resolution 2025-127 amending and combining all phases under the SOLIVITA Property Owner’s Association, Inc. under a single street lighting area, SOLIVITA PHASE 1. The Resolution contained the incorrect legal description for one of the SOLIVITA phases, Solivita IIB. The proposed Resolution corrects for the scrivener’s error and restates the corrected resolution in its entirety.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt the proposed resolution amending Resolution No. 2025-127, which combined all phases of Solivita Special Street Lighting Areas into one single Solivita Phase 1 Special Street Lighting district, to correct for a scrivener’s error and restate the corrected Resolution in full.
FISCAL IMPACT
No fiscal impact. Costs of operation and maintenance of the amended Solivita Phase 1H Street Lighting Assessment Area are paid by the lot owners through an annual special assessment.
