DESCRIPTION
On August 8, 2025 the Board approved Subcontract Fiscal Year 2025-2026 to renew The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida contract effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030. This subcontract called for the County to provide a total County contribution of $1,728,571, which is budgeted in the General Fund.
Upon annual analysis of unfilled positions within the Healthy Families Polk program, it was determined that the County’s budgeted contribution needs to be reduced by $43,759.
This amendment will revise the total County contribution down to $1,684,812.
RECOMMENDATION
Request board approval of amendment #0001 to Subcontract Fiscal Year 2025-2026.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted in the General Fund.
