DESCRIPTION
The SOE is requesting a budget amendment and transfer to cover capital expenses not included in the FY 25/26 budget. Funds will be used for the replacement of 50 Electronic Voter Identification (EViD) poll books and equipment.
Funds in the capital budget are not sufficient to cover the additional expense; therefore, the SOE is requesting a transfer of $107,500 from operating to capital to address the shortfall in the capital budget.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the budget amendment and transfer from the Supervisor of Elections operating budget to capital budget.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available for transfer in the Supervisor of Elections General Fund budget.
