DESCRIPTION
On December 14, 2021, the Board approved CSA No. 17-050-06 with the Consultant to provide design services for the SR 60 @ 80 Foot Rd Intersection Improvement Project at a cost not-to-exceed fee $167,032.49. Construction began on May 20, 2024. This CSA modification is needed to allow the Consultant to provide post-design services through the completion of construction. The post-design services include attending the pre-construction meeting and construction progress meetings, making site visits during construction as needed, and responding to questions during construction. This will increase the CSA amount by $22,465.00 and will bring the not-to-exceed cost to a new total of $189,497.49.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve Modification No. 1 to CSA No. 17-050-06 with the Consultant in the amount of $22,465.00, resulting in a new total contract amount of $189,497.49 for the SR 60 @ 80 Foot Rd Intersection Improvement Project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available within the Roads and Drainage CIP in the Transportation Impact Fee District B.
