DESCRIPTION
On February 6, 2024, the Board approved a Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation. The agenda included an incorrect account string on the CIP amendment form and Budget resolution in the amount of $800,000, the amount of the LAP Agreement, which erroneously established budget in the North Ridge Trail Phase 1, Segment 1 CIP project instead of the Sidewalk Projects CIP project. As a result of this error in FY 23/24, the current year adopted budget reflects the incorrect account strings as established by the February 2024 resolution.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the correction of a Scrivener’s Error amending the budget resolution and CIP budget amendment documents that were originally included on the February 6th, 2024 agenda item, a current year CIP amendment, and a current year budget amendment to move the $800,000.00 into the correct CIP project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Upon approval the current year CIP amendment and budget amendment, the budget will correctly reflect $800,000.00 in funding received from the Florida Department of Transportation in the Special Revenue Grant Fund in the Sidewalk Projects CIP project.
