DESCRIPTION
Approve the SHIP Rehabilitation/Reconstruction Work Contract for Case #NC25-SHIP-001 in the amount of $169,900.00 for new construction of an affordable single-family home. Also, approve service delivery costs in the amount of $6,312.00 for construction soft costs, for a total project cost of $176,212.00.
For reference, the 2026 International Building Code Valuation Table identifies an estimated Construction cost of $175.92 per square foot cost. The total project cost for this home is $119.54 per square foot, reflecting a cost-efficient development.
RECOMMENDATION
Request approval of the SHIP Construction Work Contract for Case #NC25-SHIP-001.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
