SUMMARY
The Rate Model is a standard form which the CTC uses to calculate the reimbursement rate for the Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (CTD's) Trip Equipment Grant, for the FY 2025-26. The calculations are based upon the Allocations table for the Trip-Equipment Grant. (See Attachment A for this information.)
The CTC is required to provide a draft Rate Model to the CTD for review and CTD's approval. On June 5th, as TPO Staff were preparing the TD LCB Agenda packet for 'mail out,' our Regional CTD Staff confirmed they had just received the Polk CTC's Rate Model for FY 2025-26, only recently. CTD staff has to fit this review into the rest of their schedule. Although CTD staff hopes to have their review of the Rate Model completed in time for our June 16 LCB meeting, they cautioned us that in the past the CTD team and the CTC have had to meet a few times to discuss and make changes. Thus, our CTD staff can't promise that this review will be accomplished prior to June 16.
The "blank" rate model is provided in Attachment B, so that LCB members can familiarize themselves with its structure.
If the TPO staff receive the CTD's reviewed and approved Rate Model for the Polk CTC prior to the LCB meeting on June 16, we will bring copies to the LCB meeting. Then, the LCB could review the Rate Model forms and take action to approve them.
The information in the CTD-approved, and LCB-approved Rate Model, are then used to update this Table in the TDSP. (In Agenda Item # 10.)
These are the present rates (TDSP adopted June, 2024.)

This is where the approved rates will go, into the TDSP.

If the Rate Model for FY 2025-26 isn't received in time to be distributed to the Polk TD LCB meeting, or if the LCB wants more time ...
