DESCRIPTION
In 2024, the Tax Collector entered into an agreement with Tyler Technologies for the purchase of financial software. Funds were budgeted in FY 24/25 to cover the expenses anticipated at that time. The Tax Collector and Tyler Technologies have amended the agreement to remove unused expenses and add services related to the implementation of the software, purchase of hardware, and hardware maintenance. These additional expenses were unknown and therefore not included during the FY 25/26 budget process, so a transfer from Reserves will be needed to cover the current year needs. Any outstanding expenses will be included in the FY 26/27 budget process as identified.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve a budget transfer from the Tax Collector General Fund Reserve for Contingency to the Tax Collector General Fund Operating Budget.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available for transfer in the FY 25/26 Tax Collector General Fund Reserve for Contingency.
