DESCRIPTION
On February 3, 2025, the Board approved CSA No. 2021-026-02 with SCS Engineers at a cost of $476,512.93 to perform professional engineering design services for a new scalehouse, truck scales, Citizen Convenience Center (CCC) and related infrastructure at the North Central Transfer Station.
An amendment to the Scope of Services is needed to provide bid specifications for the project at a not-to-exceed cost of $29,931. Details are attached in “Exhibit A.” The resulting new total contract amount is $506,443.93.
CSA 2021-026-02 will remain in effect through the completion of construction.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve Modification No. 1 to CSA No. 2021-026-02 with SCS Engineers and increase the contract amount by $29,931, for the North Central Transfer Station Site Improvements Project, resulting in a new total contract amount of $506,443.93.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Solid Waste Division’s Community Investment Program.
