DESCRIPTION
The proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Infrastructure Agreement (IFA) is intended to coordinate resources and to prevent duplication and ensure the effective and efficient delivery of workforce services in Polk County. In addition, the MOU/IFA will establish joint processes and procedures that will enable the Winter Haven Housing Authority-HUD/Youth Build to integrate with the current one-stop service delivery system resulting in a seamless and comprehensive array of education, human service, job training, and other workforce development services to persons with disabilities within Polk County.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the Memorandum of Understanding/Infrastructure Agreements (3) for the
years 2019-2020, 2020-2023, and 2023-2026.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact.
