DESCRIPTION

This is an Applicant-Initiated request for a Future Land Use designation change from Development of Regional Impact (DRI) in the Rural Development Area (RDA) to Institutional (INST) in the Utility Enclave Area (UEA). The change is anticipated to be used in preparation for a new high school. The subject site includes a 72.27-acre portion of a larger 189.43-acres spread across two parcels. The property is location south of Bayberry Street, west of Lake Hatchineha, north of County Road 542 (Lake Hatchineha Road), east of Marigold Avenue, and east of Haines City, in Section 20, Township 26, Range 27.
