DESCRIPTION
The Functional Classification Committee is comprised of representatives from the following Department and Divisions: Office of Planning & Development, Polk Transportation Planning Organization, Transportation Engineering and Land Development. The purpose of the committee is to review the existing functional classification of Polk County roads, per the “County Road Functional Classification” criteria adopted by the Board on August 5, 1997. The committee makes recommendations regarding the reclassification of roads as necessary and appropriate.
The committee has reviewed the following road and made the following reclassification recommendation:
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the County Road Functional Classifications as identified.
