DESCRIPTION
The Cooley Road Sidewalk Project is included in the FY 2023-2024 CIP for the Roads & Drainage Division. New sidewalk is needed along Cooley Road between Normandy Heights Drive and Recker Hwy (SR 655) to connect to the existing sidewalk and provide connectivity to Lake Shipp Elementary School and Recker Hwy (SR 655). County staff has negotiated a CSA with the Consultant to provide design services for this Project.
This CSA provides for professional engineering services to perform utility coordination and subsurface utility exploration (SUE), permitting, sidewalk and drainage design and plan preparation. Coordination will also be required with FDOT. The Consultant is to perform these services at a total not-to-exceed fee of $156,998.00 and will be completed in accordance with the project schedule and compensation as detailed in “Exhibit A”.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve CSA No. 22-088-02 with the Consultant at not-to-exceed fee of $156,998.00 for the Cooley Road Sidewalk Project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Transportation Millage Fund.
