DESCRIPTION
In January 2026, the Supervisor of Elections (SoE) requested a one-time transfer of funds to pay for a space needs study. The study will be used to determine the current and future space requirements for the SoE offices by identifying any gaps in coverage area, building inefficiencies, and any other logistical challenges that are present.
Funds in the current year budget will be transferred from reserves to the SoE’s operating budget.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve a one-time transfer of $50,000 from the General Fund Reserve for Budget Stabilization to the Supervisor of Elections’ General Fund budget.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available for transfer in the FY 25/26 General Fund Reserve for Budget Stabilization.
