DESCRIPTION
The Winslow’s Point Community Development District (CDD) is for 533 units on approximately 242.24 acres located south of CR 640, east of US Highway 27, south of Lake Wales, in Sections 25&26, Township 30, Range 27.
Section 190.046, Florida Statutes (F.S.) requires the Board to adopt an ordinance enacting Community Development Districts within its jurisdiction. The Land Development Division received a complete Petition to Establish the Winslow’s Point CDD on November 18, 2024. In order to comply with the special advertising requirements of Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, the applicant must run advertisements in the newspaper for four consecutive weeks prior to the hearing. The requested date, February 4, 2025, allows additional time for staff to review the advertisement before it is printed in the newspaper.

Request Board set hearing for adoption on February 4, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
