DESCRIPTION

This is an appeal to the decision of the Planning Commission that approved (6:1) LDSPD-2025-2 (Old Dixie Highway SPD), a Suburban Planned Development to develop thirty-one single family lots on approximately 20.29 acres. The subject property is located at 1994 Old Dixie Highway, west of the Polk Parkway, east of Delon Court, west of the city of Auburndale in Section 05, Township 28, Range 25.

Section 921.C.3 of the Land Development Code (LDC) requires a De Novo hearing to be held within 60 days of the Planning Commission hearing. The applicant for the De Novo requested an extension to June 2, 2026, which was approved by the Land Development Director.
