DESCRIPTION
The Utilities Division requested Procurement to solicit bids from qualified contractors to construct a 140,000-gallon ground storage tank, dual-pump high service pump station, and new electrical equipment building at the Babson Park Water Production Facility (WPF) located in the southeast regional utility service area. The project will increase potable water system reliability and help maintain water quality through increased aeration at the new ground storage tank.

Bid 24-476, Babson Park WPF No. 1 Ground Storage Tank and High Service Pump Station was issued, and three contractors submitted bids.

A recommendation of award was issued to CenState Contractors, Inc., and no protests were received.
