DESCRIPTION
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement requests annually that the Board of County Commissioners serve as the coordinating unit of government in the Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant - Countywide (JAGC) Program. The Certificate of Participation is for allotment of FY 23 Byrne/JAGC funds designated for Polk County. The Board of County Commissioners has accepted this role and coordinated the JAGC process since 1989.
RECOMMENDATION
Recommend Board approve the Certificate of Participation between the Board of County Commissioners and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
