DESCRIPTION
Roads and Drainage requested Procurement to solicit proposals from qualified vendors for the purpose of selecting experienced and qualified vendors to provide CEI services for Polk County.
Request for Proposal (RFP) 25-308, Construction Engineering and Inspection Services was issued, and seven vendors submitted proposals. The selection committee met on May 7, 2025; to evaluate and score the proposals and four vendors were elevated for interviews. On May 19, 2025, the selection committee conducted interviews and received presentations from four vendors. After the interviews, the consensus of the selection committee was to request the Board authorize staff to enter into contract negotiations with all four firms that interviewed. A recommendation of award to the four firms was made and no protests were received.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the selection committee’s recommendation and authorize staff to negotiate master service agreements with AECOM Technical Services Inc., Eisman & Russo, Inc., RS&H, Inc., and WSB LLC for CEI services for RFP 25-308, Construction Engineering and Inspection Services.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact during negotiations.
