Approve Consultant Services Authorization (CSA) No. 22-083-05 with Burgess and Niple, Inc., (Consultant) for engineering services for the design of improvements to CR 559 at Lundy Road Intersection. ($150,789.94 one-time expense)

DESCRIPTION
This CSA will provide professional engineering services to perform roadway design, utility coordination, geotechnical investigation, subsurface utility engineering (SUE) and for construction plans for adding a right turn lane southbound on CR 559 at Lundy Road.
The CR 559 at Lundy Road Intersection Improvements Project is included in the FY 2025-2026 CIP for the Roads & Drainage Division. County staff has negotiated a CSA with the Consultant to provide professional engineering services for this Project. The Consultant is to perform these services at a total not-to-exceed fee of $150,789.94 and will be completed as detailed in “Exhibit A”.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve CSA No. 22-083-05 with the Consultant at a not-to-exceed fee of $150,789.94 for the CR 559 at Lundy Road Intersection Improvement Project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Transportation Trust Fund within the Roads and Drainage 5 Year CIP
