DESCRIPTION
Polk County Workforce Development Board, Inc. d/b/a CareerSource Polk (Region 17) met or exceeded the adjusted levels of performance for primary indicators of performance for the last two (2) consecutive years and the local area has not failed the same individual measure for the last two (2) consecutive program years. Executive Director Stacy Campbell-Domineck certified this by signing the Local Workforce Development (LWD) Area Designation Form and attaches the LWDB Membership Board list.
Although the designation is typically required every two years, FloridaCommerce has requested that the Polk County Workforce Development Board submit its application after one year in an effort to place all local workforce boards on the same submission schedule
RECOMMENDATION
Confirm the LWDB Membership Board List and Local Workforce Designation form and authorize the chairman to sign the form.
