DESCRIPTION
This is an applicant-initiated request to approve a Transitional Area District for the expansion of an existing self-storage facility into a Residential Low-1 (RL-1) future land use designation. The site is located at 1410 Lanier Road, west and south of US Highway 98, north of Banana Road, east of Park Byrd Road, north of Lakeland in Section 11, Township 27, Range 23.
On November 5, 2025, the Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend approval of this application.
