DESCRIPTION
The Facilities Management Division requested Procurement to solicit bids from qualified contractors who were interested in the interior renovation of the Willow Oak Fire Rescue Station located at 4210 Willis Road, Mulberry, FL 33860.
The interior renovations will provide an additional bunkroom, an ADA compliant restroom, new cabinetry/fixtures in kitchen, ‘and other minor upgrades.
Bid 24-602 SM, Willow Oak Fire Rescue Station-Interior Renovation was issued, and four contractors submitted a bid. The lowest responsive bid was submitted by Whitehead Construction.

A recommendation of award was issued to Whitehead Construction, and no protests were received. In accordance with Resolution No. 13-066, $10,935.00 was added to the contract for allowance work for a total contract amount of $229,649.000. The contract time for this project is 45 days. Allowance time for the project is 6 days.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve construction contract with Whitehead Construction in the amount of $229,649.00 for Bid 24-602 SM, Willow Oak Fire Rescue Station-Interior Renovation.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the FY 25 Fire Fund.
