DESCRIPTION
The North Power Line Road Community Development District (CDD) was approved by the Board on June 5, 2018, as amended by Ordinance Nos. 20-028, 20-046, 22-001 and 22-030, enacted by the County on June 16, 2020, December 2, 2020, January 4, 2022, and May 3, 2022. This amendment adds approximately 43.350 acres and removes approximately 26.526 acres. The revised plan is for approximately 1,913 lots on approximately 446.85 acres. The additional land is located East of U.S. Highway 17/92, south of Mystery House Road, north of Baker Dairy Road near Power Line Road, within city limits of Haines City, in Section 15, Township 27, Range 27.
Section 190.046, Florida Statutes (F.S.) requires the Board to adopt an ordinance enacting Community Development Districts within its jurisdiction. The Land Development Division received a Petition to expand the North Power Line Road CDD on February 20, 2025. In order to comply with the special advertising requirements of Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, the applicant must run advertisements in the newspaper for four consecutive weeks prior to the hearing. The requested date, May 6, 2025, allows additional time for staff to review the advertisement before it is printed in the newspaper.

Request Board set hearing for adoption on May 6, 2025, at 9:15 a.m. following the regular agenda.
