DESCRIPTION

A proposed development located along the west side of North Ridge Trail to the south of Waverly Barn Road is coordinating with the County regarding an extension of sanitary sewer service to the development.  A force main is proposed to be routed from the development eastward along North Ridge trail and Access Road NW to an existing lift station.  The proposed force main would be primarily located along the roadways within existing right-of-way; however, due to limited right-of-way and conflicts at the intersection of the two roadways it is proposed to be diverted around the perimeter of an existing storm water retention facility.  To accommodate the construction, operation and/or future maintenance of the force main in this location an easement is needed from the owner of the property, WDC 4900 LLC.  The developer has coordinated with the property owner and the owner executed a Utility Easement; however, the deed was inadvertently recorded by the owner in O.R. Book 13489, at Pages 901 through 904, Public Records of Polk County, Florida, prior to acceptance by the Board.  Accepting and ratifying the aforementioned Utility Easement will give the County the easement needed for the proposed force main in conjunction with the proposed development.

RECOMMENDATION

Request Board accept and ratify the aforementioned Utility Easement.
