Review/Approve Draft 2026 Priority Transportation Projects

SUMMARY
The Board will be asked to review/approve the Draft TPO 2026 Priority Transportation Projects for Polk County. The TPO’s adopted Long-Range Transportation Plan - Envision 2050 is the source for many of the candidate projects being recommended. These priority projects will be submitted to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) as input to the development of its Draft Tentative Work Program. Typically, FDOT releases the Draft Tentative Work Program in the fall.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
The TPO’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has recommended the TPO Board approve the Draft 2026 Priority Transportation Projects as presented.
