Approve Construction Agreement and Resolution with FDOT for the SR 33 @ Mount Olive Road Intersection Project. (No fiscal impact)

DESCRIPTION
The SR 33 @ Mount Olive Road Intersection Project is in the current year CIP for the Roads & Drainage Division. The design, right-of-way acquisition, and permitting phases are now complete. The FDOT requires that the Board approve the Construction Agreement and associated resolution as the last step in the permitting process. Once the Construction Agreement is fully executed, staff will obtain bids for construction.
The scope of work is as follows:
• This is a joint project with FDOT. FDOT is installing a new traffic signal at this intersection. The county project is only on Mount Olive Rd.
• Mount Olive Rd is currently a two-lane road, one lane in each direction. This project will be adding a lane. The new configuration for Mount Olive Rd for the westbound approach will be a dedicated left turn lane, and a through/right turn lane.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the Construction Agreement with FDOT and Resolution.
