Adopt a resolution in conjunction with a State-Funded Grant Agreement between the Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”) and Polk County for the Power Line Road Phase 2 Project. (No fiscal impact)

DESCRIPTION
In May of 2026 the Board approved a State-Funded Grant Agreement with FDOT for right-of-way acquisition funding for the Power Line Road Phase 2 Project in the amount of $7,500,000. The grant agreement, executed by the Chair, was delivered to FDOT and is awaiting final approval and signature by the District. FDOT recently contacted the County and requested a resolution by the Board in conjunction with the approval of the grant agreement. Adopting a resolution will allow FDOT to finalize its approval of the State-Funded Grant Agreement for the Power Line Road Phase 2 Project.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board adopt the above-mentioned resolution.
