DESCRIPTION
Roads and Drainage requested Procurement to solicit proposals from qualified firms to provide professional engineering services for surveying, design, permitting, creating final construction bid documents, and post design services for a 5-foot-wide sidewalk on one side of the roadway from Pine Street to Marion Lake Creek Drive in Poinciana (approximately 2.1 miles). This sidewalk will enhance safety, mobility, and access on this corridor while providing a renewed aesthetic and economic vitality in the area.
Request for Proposal (RFP) 25-697, Professional Engineering Services for Caspian Road Sidewalk Design was issued, and six vendors submitted proposals. The selection committee met on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, to evaluate and score the proposals. The three highest scored vendors were elevated for interviews. On November 13, 2025, the selection committee conducted interviews and received presentations from the three highest scored vendors. After the interviews, the consensus of the selection committee was to request the Board authorize staff to enter into contract negotiations with all interviewed proposers, beginning with the highest ranked proposer, Civil Surv Design Group, Inc.
