DESCRIPTION
This is a request for 1st Amendment to the Buckeye Loop Road Infrastructure Agreement that was executed by the BoCC on April 1st, 2025. The amendment seeks to increase the reimbursement amount for actual transportation improvement costs from $705,676.39 to an amount not to exceed $871,970.38.
The increased costs are the result of additional signal improvements needed based upon the result of the required FDOT permit.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the 1st amendment to the Buckeye Loop Road Agreement for adjustments to the reimbursement of transportation improvement costs not to exceed $871,970.38.
FISCAL IMPACT
Fiscal Impact. The County agrees to reimburse the Developer for actual costs incurred for transportation improvements to Buckeye Loop Road. The agreement reimbursement cost of $705,676.39 is amended to a cost not to exceed $871,970.38. Funding for this project is available via the Roads & Drainage FY 25/26 CIP fund (Project #5400230).
