DESCRIPTION
Polk County is the fee owner of a parcel of land identified as Parcel ID Number 233201-000000-032020 located along the west side of Fort Green Road, and to the south of CR 630 in the Bradley area. The parcel is a triangular shaped parcel containing 3-acres which was acquired by the County in 2012. The County parcel is located immediately adjacent to, and surround, by property owned by Tampa Electric Company ("TECO") which is associated with its TECO Polk Power Station. TECO contacted the County and requested the parcel to be utilized in conjunction with power station site. The site was acquired by the County for use as a fire station site; however, the size and shape of the property does not accommodate the current prototype fire station design and the County has no other need or use for the property.

TECO is the fee owner of a parcel of land identified as Parcel ID Number 262916-689000-014801 located along the south side of Eagle Lake Loop Road, and to the east of Rifle Range Road in the Winter Haven area. The parcel is a nearly square shaped parcel containing approximately three-quarters of an acre which was acquired by TECO over sixty years ago. The parcel lies immediately adjacent to property owned by the County which was acquired for use with the Thompson Nursery Road Segment 2 project and the TECO parcel could potentially be utilizing in conjunction with said project.
