DESCRIPTION
The Gardener Trails Community Development District (CDD) is for 430 units on approximately 160.28 acres located next to Poinciana, south of Chinook Road, north of Halibut Road, east of Caspian Road, and east of the city of Haines City, in Section 34, Township 27, Range 28.
Section 190.046, Florida Statutes (F.S.) requires the Board to adopt an ordinance enacting Community Development Districts within its jurisdiction. The Land Development Division received a complete Petition to Establish the Gardener Trails CDD on December 4, 2025. In order to comply with the special advertising requirements of Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, the applicant must run advertisements in the newspaper for four consecutive weeks prior to the hearing. The requested date, January 20, 2026, allows additional time for staff to review the advertisement before it is printed in the newspaper.

Request Board set hearing for adoption on January 20, 2026, at 9:15 a.m.
