DESCRIPTION
Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing (PCTSM) recruits state, regional, national, international, & local organizations, partnering and managing special events to enhance the economic climate of Polk County. The attached Interlocal Agreement is PCTSM donating equipment to the City of Winter Haven to use at their facilities. This equipment will help PCTSM continue to recruit high-level events to Polk County and continue to generate more than $20 million of economic impact from events held at City of Winter Haven’s AdventHealth Fieldhouse. The items being donated will include: one (1) floor cover, fifteen (15) flex barrier nets, and ten (10) tip and roll bleachers for a total of $90,113.56.
RECOMMENDATION
Request for the Board to approve the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Winter Haven.

There is no fiscal impact.
